Heisman High School Scholarship

The Heisman High School Scholarship honors exceptional high school seniors who excel academically, athletically, and through community service. Each year, it awards scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $10,000 to outstanding male and female student-athletes across the United States.​

🏆 Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, applicants must:

  • Be graduating high school seniors in the Class of 2024.​

  • Maintain a weighted GPA of 3.0 (B average) or higher during grades 9–11.​

  • Have participated in at least one sport recognized by the International Olympic Committee, Paralympic Games, or the National Federation of State High School Associations during grades 9–11.​

  • Demonstrate leadership through school or community involvement.​

  • Be U.S. citizens or permanent residents residing in one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia.​

📅 Application Timeline

  • Application Opens: August 15, 2023​

  • Student Application Deadline: October 17, 2023, at 6 p.m. ET​

  • School Official Review Deadline: October 19, 2023, at 6 p.m. ET​

  • National Winners Announced: November 30, 2023​

💵 Award Levels

  • School Winners: One male and/or one female from each participating school.​

  • State Winners: $1,000 scholarships.​

  • National Finalists: $2,000 scholarships.​

  • National Winners: $10,000 scholarships.​

📝 Application Process

  1. Visit the Heisman High School Scholarship website and click “Apply Now.”​

  2. Create an account on the Kaleidoscope platform.​

  3. Complete the application, including personal information, academic achievements, athletic participation, and community involvement.​

  4. Provide the email address of a school official (not a parent or relative) who will verify your application.​

  5. Submit the application by the deadline.​
