Who Is Keep Kids Wrestling?

Keep Kids Wrestling® (KKW) is a Texas-based nonprofit working to grow and protect the sport of wrestling. We support youth wrestlers, parents, coaches, and teams by offering affordable gear, easy-to-use resources, and creative ways to build community. Whether your wrestler is brand new or already on the podium, we’ve got tools, support, and inspiration made just for you.

Empowering the Each generation through the Sport of Wrestling

Why Was KKW Started?

We started Keep Kids Wrestling because we saw too many young wrestlers burn out or drop out, not because they lacked talent, but because they lacked support.

  • Parents were overwhelmed.

  • Coaches were stretched thin.

  • Wrestlers didn’t feel like they belonged.

We believed there had to be a better way. So we built one.

What Does KKW Do?

We provide tools to help families fall in love with wrestling, and stick with it:

  • Monthly posters, apparel, and tapestries to motivate young wrestlers

  • Parent-friendly content, including guides, podcasts, and checklists

  • Community events like Parents’ Night Out and vision board workshops

  • Custom team gear and fundraising support for coaches and clubs

  • Educational resources for both beginners and advanced athletes

Our goal is to make wrestling fun, creative, and sustainable, not just competitive.

Why We Exist

What Makes KKW Different?

We don’t just sell gear. We tell stories.
KKW is the only wrestling nonprofit using written, audio, and visual content to shape how new families experience wrestling.

From printable coloring books to character-building videos, our materials give families what they need to understand the sport, enjoy it, and grow from it.

We organize our entire program around 5 wrestling archetypes (Leader, Brawler, Technician, Artist, and Underdog), making it easier for kids and parents to connect with the sport in a personal way.

Our Mission

Keep Kids Wrestling exists to protect the soul of wrestling.
We do that by making the sport more welcoming, less overwhelming, and full of opportunity, on and off the mat.

We believe:

  • Wrestling builds grit, confidence, and character

  • Every kid deserves to feel proud to be part of this sport

  • Support systems matter more than medals
